COPY-EDITING PROOFREADING
Copyediting and proofreading are essential to ensuring the clarity, precision, consistency—in other words, quality—of any text, whether it is a novel, a comic or manga, or other written work.
Copyediting focuses on detecting and fixing typos, inconsistencies, or vagueness in a text to create a more fluid message, providing readers a pleasant reading experience with no confusion.
Content editing goes a step beyond and aims to improve the text’s structure, style, and cohesiveness, with a focus on wording refinement, correction of factual errors, and ensuring consistency across tone and register.
